Liz McMurtry joined the Northern Colorado Athletic Training staff in July 2007. She is the athletic trainer for the women's basketball team as well as the men's and women's cross country and track teams.
McMurtry returned to her alma mater after spending two years at Boise State University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. With the Broncos, she worked with both the women's basketball and women's soccer teams. She is working to complete her master's in exercise science.
McMurtry received her bachelor of science degree in athletic training from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2005, where she was an athletic training student.
McMurtry is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
McMurtry, a native of Cheyenne, Wyoming, resides in Greeley.
