2005: Played in 44 games, starting 27, during his junior season ... started at least two games at each outfield position (with the most, 14, coming in left field) and two games as the designated hitter ... started the season off with a bang, going 3-for-5 in season-opener at No. 11 Arizona (Feb. 12) ... early in the season also had a 4-for-6 game at Kansas (Feb. 26) ... had eight multi-hit games ... suffered a slight shoulder injury near the end of the season which decreased his playing time ... swiped a pair of bases, one of only seven Bears to steal a base during the season ... had two hits in final appearance of the season, a 4-2 loss at Oklahoma (May 17) ... was 2-for-4 with a run scored, two RBI, a sacrifice and a stolen base in 5-4 victory at Southern Utah (Apr. 2).
