In three years with the program, has made 61 appearances, only three appearances away from the program's all-time record (64 set by Lonnie Dent from 1991-94) ... appeared in 24 games in 2006, the highest single-season total in program history ... four saves in 2006 ranked him sixth in school single-season history.

2006: Division I All-Independent honorable mention selection ... appeared in a school-record 24 games on the mound as a junior, two of which were starts ... 24 appearances broke the previous record of Tad Ritter (21 in 1998) ... led the team in strikeouts (64), despite pitching 24.2 innings less than the team leader for innings ... ranked second among D-I Independent players in strikeouts (9.99/game), sixth in appearances (24) and eighth in saves (4) ... allowed only three of 18 total inherited runners to score ... was named to the College Baseball Foundation's National Honor Roll and also honored as D-I Independent Pitcher of the Week on May 16 after pitching in four of his team's five games the prior week, registering two saves and recording nine strikeouts and a 1.17 ERA in 7.2 innings of work ... pitched 1/3 on a inning at No. 29 Wichita State in the opener vs. the Shockers (May 9) and came back the next night to pitch the final 4.1 innings of a 14-inning contest (the longest game in Northern Colorado history), allowing two hits and a run while striking out six in a 5-4 loss ... came back the at Big 12 Tournament Champion Kansas by pitching two innings in the opener (May 13), allowing a hit and striking out one to record his second save of the season ... the next day (May 14), pitching the final inning in the Bears 7-4 win, striking out two of the three batters he faced to pick up another save ... first save of the season came in a 5-2 win at No. 2 Nebraska, the Bears biggest win in nearly 30 years (since topping No. 1 Arizona in 1974; in that game he pitched the final 2.1 innings, allowing only two hits and striking out three ... also picked up a save against NYIT (May 20) at the D-I Independent Invitational; pitched two innings and allowed two hits and a run while striking out three ... as a starter, picked up a victory over Nebraska-Kearney (Mar. 15) by going six innings and allowing 11 hits and six runs while striking out a career-high seven in a 22-6 win ... also started against Gonzaga (Feb. 5) at the UTPA Classic, allowing six hits and four runs in four innings but got a no-decision ... struck out three of the four batters he faced against Air Force (Mar. 7) ... allowed only one hits in 2.1 innings of work at Sacramento State (Mar. 11), in his return to him home state ... struck out six in 4.1 innings of relief against BYU (Apr. 26) ... picked up the victory in relief against New Mexico State (Feb. 24), pitching two innings and not allowing a hit while striking out three ... pitched 2.1 innings at No. 12 Arkansas (Apr. 18), allowing three hits and a run in a 2-1 loss ... compiled a 1.93 ERA and had a save in four appearances against nationally-ranked teams during the year ... recorded his first career at-bat against Air Force (Apr. 11); he grounded out but forced in a run for his first career RBI.


2005: Division I All-Independent second-team selection ... appeared in 20 games, 11 of which were starts, the second highest single-season total in school history and only one off school record ... led the team in wins, strikeouts and innings pitched ... made first nine appearances of the season out of the bullpen, before becoming ace of the starting staff ... proved to be a master of control, allowing only 11 walks and striking out 38 batters in his 11 starts (59 total inning) to close the year ... from March 20 at Creighton until April 19 at Air Force, did not issue a walk to 111 batters in a row, an amazing stretch that extended over 26.2 innings ... in first start of the season, tossed complete game at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Mar. 27), allowing 10 hits and three runs while striking out a season-high eight; the complete game was the first for the program in nearly a year (336 days) ... followed that up by tossing another complete game in his next start, allowing seven hits and an earned run while striking out four at Southern Utah (Apr. 2); allowed two doubles and a run in the first inning of that game and then retired 16 of the next 18 batters he faced ... those back-to-back complete game started a stretch where he won four of five consecutive starts with the only no-decision coming at No. 14 Arkansas (Apr. 6) when he lasted four innings ... final win of the season came on May 21 against Utah Valley State at the D-I Independent Invitational where he allowed seven hits and four runs over eight innings as the Bears won 11-4; earned All-Tournament honors for that pitching effort ... first loss of the season came against BYU (Apr. 27), where he allowed six hits and five runs in seven innings as Bears lost 6-2 to the nation's No. 3 hitting team ... one of his six victories came in relief, pitching three innings and allowing only two hits and a run against Air Force (Mar. 8).


2004: Appeared in 17 games as a true freshman ... that total was the sixth-highest single season total in school history ... struck out 26 batters in just 23.1 innings, a ratio of 10.0 strikeouts-per-nine-innings, tops on the team for pitchers with more than 20 innings pitched ... earned first collegiate victory on April 25, pitching the final two innings, allowing only one hit and striking out three in a 12-11 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi ... also recorded a save, pitching the final two innings, allowing only two hits in a 6-3 win over Utah Valley State (Apr. 2) ... struck out a season-high four batters against each Air Force (Mar. 12) and Sacramento State (May 16) ... struck out the final six batters he faced during the season.

High School: 2003 graduate of Ukiah High ... earned two letters for coach Dennis Busse ... helped Wildcats to 20-win season and North Bay League championship ... 2003 North Bay League MVP ... also named team MVP and was the team captain.
