2004-05: Played in all 29 games, starting 24 of them ... ranked second on the team in rebounds (5.1/game), third in assists (54) and steals (27) and fourth in minutes played (27.7/game) ... scored a career-high 32 points on perfect 12-12 shooting from the field and 5-5 from three-point range in 99-91 victory over Longwood (Jan. 10); 12-12 from the field tied the school record for field goal percentage in a game (with Michael Morse's 13-13 set in 2000-01) ... included in that mark was a three-pointer he swished from 27-feet out as the shot clock expired late in the game to preserve not only the perfect shooting night but a Bears victory ... the 12-12 performance was one of only five in Division I during the season of players attempting at least 10 field goals and not missing a single attempt; 12-12 equaled the most attempts without a miss in Division I, tying him with Kibwe Trim of Sacred Heart ... hit eight consecutive three-pointers over a three-game stretch (Texas Tech, Longwood, Texas-Pan American) which tied the school record held by Pierre Elize; missed first shot attempt against Utah Valley State (Jan. 15) to snap streak ... had the first double-double on the season for the Bears, scoring 12 points on 5-6 shooting and grabbing 10 rebounds against in-state rival Air Force, in the first meeting between the teams in 25 years ... also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds at Montana State (Dec. 19) ... against Texas State (Dec. 22), had a tip-in with 16 seconds left in overtime to force a second overtime and a dunk at the end of the second overtime that preserved the Bears 86-82 victory ... grabbed 10 boards and scored nine points against NCAA Tournament participant Iowa State (Nov. 26) at the Cyclone Challenge ... hit on 6-7 shots and scored 14 points against CU-Colorado Springs (Feb. 14) ... played a season-high 40 minutes, scoring seven points and grabbing six rebounds in overtime loss to Utah Valley State (Jan. 15) ... led team in rebounding nine times during the year and was the top assist man four times ... hit 54.7 percent (29-53) of his shots in nine games against fellow D-I Independents ... had a steal in 15 of last 21 and 21 of 29 total games during the year ... had string of 35 consecutive starts snapped against Stephen F. 2003-04: Division I All-Independent honorable mention selection ... played and started in all 28 games ... led team in rebounding (7.1) and was third in scoring (11.6) ... scored a then career-best 20 points against Western State (Nov. 21), Colorado Mines (Nov. 25) and Kendall College (Nov. 28) ... led team with six double-doubles and was team's leading rebounder in 16 of 28 contests and team's leading scorer six times ... had a career-high 13 rebounds while scoring 12 points against Colorado Christian (Nov. 29) ... had 10 points and 12 rebounds, including an impressive 10 offensive boards, and two assists against Regis (Jan. 14) ... dished out career-best eight assists while scoring nine points in helping Bears to 85-74 victory over Adams State (Jan. 2) as the team broke a nine-game losing streak ... scored 16 points, grabbed nine rebounds and hit 3-5 three-pointers in 38 minutes of action in season finale against Longwood (Mar. 5) ... 32.6 minutes of playing time per game led the UNC team as he only played less than 30 minutes in five total games; played full 40 minutes only once, against Eastern Michigan (Dec. 23) when he scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds ... scored 18 points in exhibition game against Colorado State (Nov. 17) ... was 6-6 at the free throw line against Eastern Michigan; hit on 80 percent of his free throw attempts in the last two minutes of games ... spent the summer prior to his junior season playing with an Athletes in Action team that toured East Asia/China.


2002-03: Played in 26 games during freshman season, starting eight of them ... scored a season-high 13 points on 5-7 shooting and 2-2 from three-point range in 93-57 victory over Grand View (Nov. 30) ... also reached double figures in important conference victory over Minnesota State (Jan. 18); scored 10 points while playing the entire 40 minutes against the Mavericks ... grabbed season-high eight boards, including four offensive, in 83-61 victory over Augustana (Feb. 15) ... twice had three steals in a game during freshman campaign ... spent the summer after freshman season playing with an Athletes in Action team that toured Brazil.

Prep: Olson averaged 24.4 points per game, grabbed nine rebounds and added three steals per contest at Fairview High School in Boulder for coach Frank Lee ... his 24.4 average was second-best among prep players in the state of Colorado ... also participated in baseball, posting a 7-2 record as a pitcher with a 2.24 earned run average ... struck out 57 batters in only 59 1/3 innings pitched.
