  • Freshman Brandon Smith caught just his second pass of the year, and first since the opening game of the year, in the first quarter, giving the Bears a first down with his 10 yard reception. He ended the game with three catches for 19 yards.

 

  • Freshman Max Hewitt intercepted a pass for the second straight game, this time returning it 73 yards to the eight-yard line. Hewitt's return was the sixth-longest interception return in school history and the longest non-scoring interception return ever.

 

  • Junior running back David Woods left the game in the second quarter with a right leg injury after carrying the ball nine times for 35 yards.

 

  • Junior Cory Fauver had his first career kickoff return, gaining 10 yards late in the second quarter.

 

  • Sophomore running back Tyrone Wilson returned to the lineup for the Bears after missing the last two games with an injury, rushing for 50 yards on nine carries for the day.

 

  • Senior Clint Wright scored his second touchdown of the season and third of his career in the fourth quarter to put the Bears on the board. The 31 yard touchdown reception is also the longest of his career.

 

  • Junior linebacker Cristian Sarmento tallied a career-best 17 tackles in the game, including 1.5 tackles for loss, bettering his previous career best of 14 tackles from earlier this season. Freshman Max Hewitt also recorded a career-best with 10 tackles. Sarmento's tackles also tie for the most in the Big Sky Conference this season.
