Sacramento State at Northern Colorado Post Game Notes
- Sophomore kicker Michael York made his first career field goal to open the scoring for Northern Colorado in the first quarter. York entered the game 0-for-2 and his 36-yard make gave the Bears the 3-0 advantage.
- Sophomore corner back Quincy Wofford blocked his second kick of the year, blocking Sacramento State's 23-yard field goal attempt in the second quarter. He also blocked a point-after attempt at Idaho State on October 6. It was the first blocked field goal for the Bears since Jacob Carlson blocked one against South Dakota State on Nov. 20, 2004.
- Today marked the first time since Sept. 16, 2006 at #23 Texas State the Bears held a team scoreless through the first half of a game. It also was the fourth time in the last five games the opposition has not scored in the first quarter of the game.
- Junior wide receiver Cory Fauver notched a career-high eight receptions for a career-most 78 yards and scored the first touchdown of his career. He also had 76 kick return yards and 17 punt return yards for 171 all-purpose yards.
- Senior quarterback Dominic Breazeale had a career-day, posting career-bests in rushing yardage (61), completions (28), passing attempts (38) and passing yards (286).
- Junior linebacker Cristian Sarmento continued his streak of games with double figure tackles, notching 13 for his eighth straight game with 10 or more, despite not playing the majority of the second half after an ankle injury.
