Flagstaff, ARIZ. - The University of Northern Colorado volleyball team was swept at Northern Arizona this evening, 30-26, 31-29, 30-21. With the loss, the Bears fall to 10-19 on the year and finish conference play at .500 (8-8). Northern Arizona moves to 12-14 overall and 7-9 in league action.

Sophomore outside hitter Kenzie Shreeve led the Bears with 12 kills, while sophomore middle blocker Allison Raguse chipped in 11 and hit a team-best .350 (11-4-20). Senior libero Abby Mayne led with 17 digs, while Raguse also led with a match-high seven blocks. Sophomore defensive specialist Breanna VanDerMost had the only service ace of the evening and junior setter Lauren Carter tallied 29 assists.

Northern Arizona was led by senior outside hitter Kim Babcock with 16 kills, while Chelsea Cheeley added 12 and hit a match-high .455 (12-2-22) and senior Colleen Flooker chipped in 10 kills. Libero Brittany Stowers notched a match-high 18 digs, while Babcock also had 10 digs and both Flooker and Kelly Verboom tallied six blocks.

Northern Colorado will face Weber State in the four-five matchup in the opening round of the Big Sky Conference Volleyball Championship at Sacramento State on Friday morning, November 23. The Bears and Wildcats split the regular season meetings with each team winning the match on the road. Last week, NC defeated WSU in four games in Ogden.
