Greeley, COLO. - The University of Northern Colorado volleyball team has always been extremely involved in community support, and this year is no different as the Bears recently worked with both Habitat for Humanity and Boys & Girls Club.
On Saturday, the team worked on the flooring of a house in north Greeley and then on Monday, the Bears hosted a free clinic for the Boys & Girls Club. They split into three different groups to host at the Galeton, Painter and Pawl units in Weld County.
"Volunteer projects are always a great reminder of how blessed we are, especially right before the holidays," said Head Coach Lyndsey Benson. "We have so much to give back to our community."
The volleyball team recently concluded their season, losing in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament to Weber State.
